UT-OH! help

First of all, I am on my 6th day and am down about 4 lbs. Right now, at this very moment, I am trying to think of anything other than forbidden food (brownies, peanut M&Ms, heck, ANYTHING chocolate). It is taking every single ounce of will power I possess not to go grab something sugary and carb-loaded. Now I am quite positive this is because it's that TOM, since I have not had these cravings for at least the past 3 days. Really, I am just needing to do something other than munch on chocolate so I decided to post in the hope that someone is on the boards right now and can give me some encouragement and remind me that I *really* don't want that junk like I think I do. And if there's not anyone on right now who can reply, maybe we can get some suggestions going for what everyone does when this happens and hopefully it will help anyone else who ends up in my situation. :-)

Thanks in advance, and I will try to be strong! :)

Don't do it - Don't do it!!!! You will be so sorry when you're done. You can do this. You have willpower. You can find something on the ok list that will take away the craving. Do you have any sugar-free fudgesicles? How about some salty nuts? A mocha ricotta thingy? Maybe with extra splenda (go hog wild). LOL. Thin feels better.

Good Luck

Why don't you get some sugar free chocolate? Most GNC's carry sugar free candy...and I know you are only supposed to have 75 calories worth every day in sweets, but when youhave the cravings, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do so you don't blow the diet. So go and get some sugar free candy, fix your craving!

Cathy,

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I'm so glad you replied. You're right, I can do it and I have will power (even if it's not that much, lol). I completely forgot about my no-sugar-added fudgesicles! I'm definitely gonna go get one. Again, thanks, I *really* needed that.

OMG!! I am on the exact same day as you and are feeling the exact same thing!!!!

I was at the mall today and saw this really large lady eating a brownie sundae with mint chocolate chip ice cream, hot fudge and lots of white fluffy whip cream! It took every ounce of my will power to walk away! That is exactly what I wanted! I could feel my heart race and my face get flucs, I actually had to stop my shopping trip and leave! I didn't even think about her eating that or waht would happen if I did. I just wanted it! I actually didn't even feel proud of myself for not eating one, I felt disappointed that I didn't get one. Is that wierd??

I want M&M's anything that is sweet besided sugar free fudgeciles....they don't cut it anymore. I feel aweful and am also trying to reason wit myself. I go to bed at 8:30pm so I can go to sleep and not think about food. Isn't that aweful....I know how you feel!!!!!

BUT!!! I haven't snapped yet. I just try to clear it from my mind. It's mind over matter. Its there evry minute but I jsut won't give it! I didn't suffer 6 days to blow it!!!! No way! I did slip one and have 2 whisky sours. :(

Hang in there!!!

Chris you can e-mail me if you want to talk food but nope, not gonna eat it!!

Sugar-free creme savers and lifesavers de-lites taste like the real thing and are very low in calories. They help me stay away form the bad stuff at work.

Hi,

I just finished phase one. Only 5 pounds....:( Anyway to get me through the sweet tooth

craving, I'd have a cup of decaff with that powered creamer and some Splenda. Splenda is a great sugar substitute. Good luck to you. I'm staying on a modified phase I for a little while longer. Wanna loose 5 more pounds.
