Can you please tell me how long Phase 1 should last? I do not have much weight to lose (15lb), so do I have to stay on it 2 weeks?
Is it the same as the Atkins induction phase? Thanks.

Yes you should stay on Phase 1 for two weeks. I only have 10 pounds to lose and only lost 5 on two weeks of Phase 1. You must detox your body of all the cravings before you go on to add back healthy carbs. You will lose much much slower on Phase 2. Remember, the less you have to lose, the slower it will come off. Don't get discouraged. I got so used to the plan that after two weeks on Phase 1, I didn't mind it at all. I just started Phase 2 today and felt full all day after adding back an oatmeal for breakfast. I had to keep reminding myself that the oatmeal was a legal food. I was allowed to eat it. After the cravings were gone and hardly feeling hungry ever, I hated to add back carbs and get that constant hunger and sluggishness feeling.
