Hi All !

I made it through a stressful day --both home and work were a real trip today.

I was Oh-so-tempted to have a glass of "Seven Deadly Zins" (my favorite red wine,)

But instead I had a cup of tea and a sugar-free mini reesces'

peanut butter cup (major yum!)

SO I made it through with no damage, and I feel better now.

I think the protein on this diet is helping me manage stress more effectively. I feel more stable. Anyone else feel that way?

This is a great community.

I appreciate your help.

Glad you made it!! Pat yourself on the back for being so strong and resisting temptation!

I have a confession to make!! I have been indulging in my red wine every so often since I started last Monday (yikes!!!) I still lost 2.5 lbs in my first week though...guess it might have been more if I had laid off the wine, huh?

Keep up the great progress!

Hey Congratulations on your victory here. I am finding that since I have started this WOE, saying no to things that I shouldn't really have is easy.

I also am finding I am a lot calmer, clearer headed and able to handle stress a lot better since I've gotten rid of those unhealthy carbs. They say fish is brain food and I have been trying to eat fish at least 3-4 times a week.
