I was just reading one source that states Laughing Cow Cheese has chemicals and preservatives in it. Why are so many people using it for the SBD? Wouldn't the 1 ounce mozzarella sticks be better?

Hi, I am alittle concerned about where you got your info from. I've been eating this and began to worry. But, I'm looking at the label and it reads: Cheddar, Swiss and semisoft cheeses (cultured milk and skim milk, salt, enzymes), non-fat dry milk, anhydrous milk fat, whey, cream, sodium phosphate, sodium citrate, salt.

The only thing I didn't recognize was the anhyrdrous milk fat - so I looked it up - it is "Cholesterol reduced fluid milk product". That doesn't sound harmful.

My opinion is that it sounds fine - does anyone else have an opinion on this?

This is the information I saw posted on another site. This says it's made in France but now I've heard there's some made here in the US. I'll have to look for it in the store and check the labels. Where is you cheese from?
