What is everyone's position on mayonnaise??

The full fat version has 0 carbs and 100 calories per serving.

The low-fat version has 1 carb and 50 calories per serving.

My vote: the benefit of half the calories is greater than the benefit of 0 carbs - I go with the low-fat version as being 'legal' on SBD.

I'd go with you if I were a mayo lover and had to have a regular serving size, but I only use about a 1/2-tablespoon for a 6-oz can of tuna, so I use the regular kind.

I've tried sneaking the low-fat version past my husband - it's never worked, because he can taste the aftertaste, and I have to agree with him. Plus, our refrigerator isn't big enough for that many big jars!

IMO, I just use the regular and measure out my serving.

I just have to be different :)

I like a lot of mayonnaise on my tuna, etc. about 1 1/2 tbs. so what I do is take 1-2 tsp of regular mayonnaise and mix it with lo fat canola oil mayonnaise which does not have a bad taste on its own --- it is better than the regular lite mayonnaises.

GO RED SOX!!!!!1 more win!!!!

I'll sneek in my *go sox!* as well. These guys are gonna give me a heart attack before they're done. :)

As for mayo, I actually use the Cains Light Mayo.

OK - if there are others here on the Sox bandwagon, I'll climb aboard. They're not killing me with a heart attack - it's more like lack of sleep from the post-game shows and sports radio. DH has gone 'round the bend....

Thanks for the tip on Cains Lite. If I can find a small jar, I'll give it a try.
