has anyone tried the carob chips? I thought I would get creative at Whole Foods today. Hmmmm.... I don't know what I think of them.

I did get Cashew Butter and Almond butter fresh ground. YUM!

I have been eating carob for a long time. (I had blood sugar issues as a kid, and the only sugar free "chocolate" they made then was carob.) I think that carob is ok as long as you're not expecting it to taste like chocoate....cause it doesn't. It is yummy in it's own way though. It definitely doesn't cut it during TOM!! Did you have some already? What did you think?

PS. I saw where they quoted you in one of the south beach articles! Way to go!

Quoted me in an article???? Where???? Let me know when you can!

I tried them last night. It was a different taste, and I thought it was quite unique! I put a tbsp in my ricotta last night, and it was pretty good! Definately NOT chocolate, but it did have a good taste. Intersting.

ps again...

Glad you found the article! I didn't know they could quote you without your knowledge. Oh well, at least you sounded good.

I ate the carob chips in cookies. I'll have to try to find the recipe and post it for the P3ers cause it's made with fructose and ww flour. I guess you could eat them everyonce in a while on p2.
