Help with phase one

I am new to the diet. I started on Monday. Yesterday, Friday, was a bad day. I ate a bite or two of bread, half a chocolate chip cookie, and some pasta. I am having a hard time with the diet because I don't eat a lot of veggies. The ones I do like are not the good ones. I feel hungry and that's why I did what I did yesterday. I haven't noticed the lbs. coming off. I may have a lost a lb. or two. But I am disappointed. And that, too, may be why I fell off. Do I have to start the two weeks over again? Has anyone had the same problem, if so any advice?
Yvette

I don't know about you, but I think that a bite or two of bread and 1/2 of a cookie are amazing! You don't say that you had two pieces of bread and 6 cookies, right? I would say that, while you aren't supposed to eat those items, at least you didn't totally binge out.
I like veggies a lot, but am not a big fan of the animal protein foods, so I understand that it is difficult for you. I am trying to experiment with different foods to see how I might learn to like them. Perhaps you could try that, too?
Be sure to include snacks that you like so that you don't get hungry. When I am hungry, I am more likely to be tempted to eat something I shouldn't.
Also, remind yourself that it is only two weeks.
Finally, the weight does not always come off when we expect. Wait a few more days and then weigh yourself (the dr suggests only once a week, but I cannot help myself).
Best of luck,
Annmarie
