This might be a helpful thread if we can build the messages to be helpful. Add your most important, notorious, repeated, helpful, etc FAQ. Please include questions even the questions are duplicates. Different answers help out different people.

1. Are beans allowed? YES! Eat them! EAT, EAT, EAT!

2. How many carbs are we allowed a day. We don't count carbs. Only inches, Lbs, and dress sizes are counted here.

3. Can we exercise on this WOE? Yes. Walking, running, strength training, videos... all are great!

4. Do I need the book or can I just start? In my opinion, a basic knowledge helped me to understand what was going on with my body and the weightloss. I bought the book, found the recipies helpful, and the food lists were great as well. Then I tried the internet and this board. I didn't really need the book, but this is just me. I learned a lot from the experiences I read about. However, that is just me.

5. What are helpful internet sites? Hippodamia.com, prevention.com, ivillage.com

Sometimes the posts can get buried down below where people miss them. Bumping it means it will push it back to the top again since it is a recent post. The person doesn't have anything new to say but wants to get the thread back up to the top to make sure others see it.

Everytime someone replies to a post, the post will be put at the top of the message rotation. It is the same thing if someone starts a new discussion. Sometimes, a post will fall way down on the message list, and if it is seems important to someone, they will "bump" the post up to let everyone know it is there. This can be helpful for pushing down negative posts or as with the FAQ post, it helps newbies see answers to some questions they may have.

This is great!! I'd like to ask you about nuts - I seem to enjoy them as a dessert substitute after a meal (not just for snacks) What do you think? I'm trying not to go over the 15 nut limit but sometimes I do... I'm on Phase 1 again (Thanksgiving :-( )Also, how are those sweeteners: Splenda, Whey low? or should I just skip that idea? Thanks sooo much for listening!!
