I am on day 4 of phase 1, I have not lost any weight yet. I feel good about the diet and cutting the sugar cravings. I am a sugarholic! I have not been really following the daily meal plan. I am just eating what I want but within the allowed foods. Is this okay? Is there a certain amount of food groups we are supposed to get per day? Also, how many sugar-free Reese's Peanut Butter cups are allowed per day? Those are soooo good! This board is great! Thanks!

watch the calories on the sf candy. i looked at some at trader joes yesterday and not only were the calories higher than i thought, but so were the total carbs. sugar was down, alcohol sugar was up and it was too much for me. i didn't buy any.
remember, 75 misc calories/day

About your meal plan, though: You don't have to follow the recipes in the book; many of us have been successful in this WOE by simply following the allowed foods lists. I liked the book, because it gave me the rationale to do what I am doing. Some of the recipes are good, and I have made them as I feel like doing so. Some people prefer certain recipes over others, depending on
