How do you do it?

I need to lose quite a bit of weight. My biggest problem in getting started on a diet such as this is that I want things spelled out in black and white in a few pages. In other words, I want a day to day menu for about a week. The menu shows what you eat for each meal and what the portions are EXACTLY. Is there anywhere on the web that does this? I am looking for something that says eat this and this and this many ounces for EVERYTHING IT LISTS. I also want practical easy things. Not some recipe that costs a lot to fix because of the multiple ingredients or something that is elaborate or fancy. Why can't you find menus for diets like this? Is there such a place online like this for this diet?

Well, my recommendation is to buy Dr. Agatston's book. It has tons of recipes and it does have a day by day/ meal by meal plan. I personally haven't tried many of the recipes, but it's nice to know they are there if you get bored with the same ol' same ol'.

I am sure if you join the online service, which you have to pay for, you will get other recipes and insider info that this board may not provide you with. I haven't decided yet if it is worth the money to me or not...

Also if you want the food lists right away, go to www.hippodamia.com to get the general info. But be sure to read the book as well........it's very informative, which is what you want to do ----> educate yourself for a healthier lifestyle!

The book has day by day meal plans and recipes. I haven't used any of them though. If you plan on following the meal plans exactly I hope you like the recipes.
