Store-bought breads and rolls

Do any of you know of the best brands of store-bought breads and dinner rolls that best fit into the SBD plan?  I believe I read that they should have no trans-fats and have at least 2g of fiber per serving....and of course, should be made of whole grains with no processed flour or sugar in them.

My grocery store had many with certain aspects of this on their labels, but I'm looking for the "best".

I'm eating Arnold HealthNut - whole grain, lots of "stuff" in it that you can see, high fiber, doesn't taste like sawdust. Found it at the store on sale, so I've got another loaf in the freezer. There's another Arnold variety out there that I'm going to try - 7 or 9 Grain. Also, I'm amused at the brand name and have to try this one - "When Pigs Fly" - when Arnold is gone.

Bread rolls are trouble for me, especially if they're warm out of the oven - I just avoid them the best I can. DH even likes the HealthNut bread - that's why there's a spare in the freezer. Your BF is doing phenomenally well on this WOE - congratulations to him!

I think it's either Arnold or Pepperidge Farm that makes a 12 grain bread too.

The healthiest bread I've found is in the refrigerator section of the health food store and is called Manna bread. It's smaller and denser than regular loaf bread. Congratulations to your BF for his perseverance and fantastic results!

I believe I read about trying "Healthy Life" whole wheat. This is the thinly sliced bread with 35 calories per slice. The one I bought was even stone-ground whole wheat. Does anyone know if that is permitted bread?
