Was having problems posting. Discovered that Breyer's has a low-carb ice cream for people who want to reduce their carb intake. It has only 4 NET games of carbs per serving, and the chocolate we got was delicious. I think they make vanilla and strawberry too. It may not be a big deal for some people, but for ice cream lovers, it's a wonderful development!

oh I know! It's very good. I've been eating it for a month now and couldn't believe how good a scoop of vanilla was in a glass of diet root beer. A nice treat:) The chocolate was surprisingly good too. I'm much into strawberry but my parents LOVE it! There's also a low carb milk on the market. Have you seen it? The chocolate milk is good although I'm still getting used to the FF. In my cereal, it does just fine though.

I was hoping a low-carb milk was out there somewhere; do you know the brand name and what the carb count is per glass? I'm curious if it's much different from regular 1% milk.

Thanks!

It's got 3 carbs, 70 calories. I looked in the ingredients and didn't see anything "manufactured". I'm thinking it's watered down milk:) No, my sister says it resembled soy milk. It's also good for like 2 weeks! The chocolate is the best though. I found it at Superwalmart. I swear, i think they get all that kind of stuff first.

We have just a plain old WalMart nearby - no Supers are convenient.

I did a google search and found LeCarb and LeCarb Low Fat. The manufacturer's website says it has 4-4.5 grams of carbs (vs 12 for regular milk). I may try to locate that over the weekend - there's a Whole Foods market not too far away that might carry it.

Thanks for the info!

I don't know why I didn't see it sooner, but am so glad to have found it. My husband will love the rootbeer float idea, although I'm trying to stay away from any kind of soft drinks. I've been reading how horrible they are for your system because of the acidosis they cause, so I'm drinking a lot more tea and water. I want to get a system which produces alkaline water, which is the absolute best for you, but will have to wait a while.

I haven't seen the low carb milk. but will have to keep an eye out for it. Who makes that?

I tried a search too and came up with these:

Keto Low Carb Milk -- http://www.lowcarbfooddepot.com/gc/gc_item.exe?F=D&K=KE060&V=Brief&R=H%2Fcatalog%3AMilk&ID=1023235511641296134199

This site has a recipe for making your own low carb milk under the paragraph "But isn't milk
