As the title says...I'm in starting over mode. Too many detours away from the beach. I decided to do a week of phase 1 then move to phase 2. I cleaned out the kitchen of everything that wasn't on p2 except a few things for DH and DD. Those I put into containers with their names on it.

I agree. Once you add back some carbs the weight loss is very slow. I don't mind P1. I have been doing this since 9/30. I kind of stick with P1 until I really crave something and then feel I've been so good, I can have a healthy carb. Or every few days add some brown rice or a whole wheat pita or tortilla with dinner. It really makes you look forward to that meal. If I added back oatmeal every morning I would gain weight. Everyone has to do what is best for their lifestyle. I only have a total of 10 pounds to lose, but it doesn't budge. I feel much better eating this way. Good Luck!
