well I will be joining you all here. My doctor wants me to watch processed carbs and he said his principles are pretty close to SBD so here I am . I have the book but I have never watched carbs so I am alittle scared since I would rather have pasta than meat.

I am really going to try it though

Hi there...

Low carb does not mean eat meat. It's all right though. Have you checked out Spaghetti Squash? Good sub for al dente pasta. Veggies are a good source of carbs. For me on Phase 1, I ate lots of black beans, peppers, and cauliflower. Then, when I reintroduced things in Phase 2, I have reintroduced Whole Grain bread, whole wheat pitas, long cooking oatmeal, and milk. Peep around the board. Many of your questions will be answered and you'll have fun. Don't be scared:)
