Anyone else scared of II & III?

I did great on phase I... and eased into phase II quite nicely (still continued to lose)... but now I am starting to become more leinant with myself.. it's scaring me.  I see my tummy puffing out a bit more too, though that could be from all the pumpkin seeds I've consumed in the last 3 days (don't think they digest too quickly)...

I think I need to go back to phase I for a few days just to make myself stop wanting to snack on something.  Or... just be sure to eat something before 10:30am?  (I am no longer hungry first thing in the morning... or decide to wait until AFTER I exercise to eat breakfast).

Is anyone else going through this "not knowing if I'm messing up" feeling?

Thanks Ria!

Try adding some dried fruit or fruit itself just to give your taste bud a kick of fructose. Try addind sugar free syrup to your oatmeal. Get sugar free flavored syrups and add to you coffee, oatmeal, etc. The oatmeal pancakes from the book are awesome!

Well.... I ate a banana with peanut butter the other day.... and raspberries (high fiber) today.

I know..... but I peeled one & my ds didn't want to eat it.... so I added peanutbutter so that there would be some fat and protein.

It seems as though it would be better than eating just a plain banana (what a fun word to spell!). It's the whole GI thing that is diffcult and easy to understand. Ice cream isn't the best, but if you add walnuts, you have a better treat. Add butter and sour cream, and you have a better choice for a baked potato.

Regarding the pumpkin message... yes, the can is pure pumpkin and it says the only ingredient is pumpkin. The easy pumpkin pie filling is what has all the sugar. :)

Correction. I meant to say that SF Metamucil is meant to REDUCE the GI of a meal.
