I'm having trouble with the digestion thing again. I'm taking lots of fiber, eating Uncle Sam cereal with berries for breakfast, taking citrucel and metamucil capsules several times a day, and eating my veggies. I am just getting more and more bloated. :(

I'm not even weighing myself 'cause I know I will weigh more with all this bloating going on!

Any suggestions are welcome. Other than this symptom, I love this diet, and I think it is just my IBS making it hard for me to adjust to it.

I haven't felt that way till just now.... I'm thinking all the roasted pumpkin seeds I've been eating since Sunday are not digesting properly.

Kimmie, if you have IBS the answer might not be to eat more fiber. I just got back from my dr and he said for some eatting high fiber foods causes problems in those of us with ibs ( I am one for them). I don't know what type of veggies you are eatting but you might not be able to handle the high fiber ones (especially when your ibs is giving you a hard time). I thought SBD would be the answer for me because my dr said to watch processed carbs but since I also have IBS ( bad) I wonder if this is not the answer for me.

Okay, this is a little weird, but i'll tell you anyway. What the heck. At this point, I literally go once every other day. If i miss that schedule, I have some sashimi. That usually straightens me out. I dont know why it works, but it does. If you have a good place in your area, give it a try.

Hey,

Thanks everyone! I am feeling somewhat better. I have to remember that with IBS, my digestion is just not normal... I feel better today. I went back to eggs for breakfast, cheese and an apple for lunch, yogurt for a snack and stir-fried shrimp and veggies for dinner. I think I am finding the right balance, but it will take some time.

I did maintain my weight loss, so that is a good thing.

Also, I joined CURVES today!

I'm so excited.

Can't wait to work out the next three days!!

Got my omelet mixed up for tomorrow morning.

Got my buddies.

Got my DD's and DH.

Life is GOOD!
