I cheated yesterday and had pizza. I was doing so good! I am going to go back to phase 1 for a while.

It's up to you what you do, but I have found that with my body, one significant cheat isn't going to hurt so much as to send me back to phase 1 for the week. I just exercise, watch what I eat the next day a little more close, and I go from there. JMO.

Hi, I'm going back to Phase 1 also but only for a fews days to bump off the pound I gained while eating white potatoes before Weigh-In.Good luck Maryann

I second Ria's Motion! lol

Having some pizza... "cheating" if you will, will not break this WOE! Just remember thats what this is! WOE.. not a "diet"

I indulged yesterday in five.. yes FIVE hershey kisses.. with Almonds.. which made me feel better since we almonds are so good for us! lol AND... I ate two small slices of garlic bread with dinner. AND... HA HA.. some red wine. I enjoyed it...and having what I had was enough. I didn't crave more, I didn't eat a whole bag of kisses, or the whole loaf of bread. I enjoyed the little I had, and it was worth it. EVERY SINGLE BITE!

Today, I had a sandwich on rye bread, and tonight I'll have salad with some fresh mozz cheese and maybe some sugar free popsicles. I pick and choose my days to indulge and it works for me. You'll find your own "niche" in this WOE and you'll make it work for you.

I just returned from a retreat this weekend, where food and snacks were provided. Since I don't worry as much about "allowed" foods when away from home, I "cheated" a lot this weekend. Tuesday, I will do a weigh-in (after giving myself Monday to eat better). If I find I've gained weight, I'll go back to Phase 1 for a few days. If not, I'll just continue with my usual WOE (aka Phase 2-3).

THANK GOODNESS for you Gretchen! It gets lonely sometimes seeing my posts about indulgence now and again. It's good for the system... at least it is for my system. I don't call it cheating. I call it living life. If you can handle eating a piece of pizza, then go for it! Just get back on track. Now, if it becomes a problem of pushing the envelope too much, then revisit the situation.

Those kisses sound great... YUM!

Thanks guys! I have just been so good about eating only "allowed" foods that I freaked (the old "I'm on a diet" way of thinking.) I exercise and it was only one day so I'll just watch what I eat and see what happens.

Hi ! I want to start a diet myself and just wanted to know what actually is your meal plan fort the 2 weeks of the firts phase ?

Could you give it to me I would really appreciate it...I know I should buy the book but i'm 17 and the money well right now is kinda low...and I really feel unhappy about my weight, I would like to lose 20 pounds I know I may be young for dieting but please. Could you help me, and give me the meal plan for the 2 weeks of the firts phase...It would give me a boost and then would be able to eat better and feel better...you can write me back !!
