No because I make it a priority behind getting my son taken care of. I even sacrifice sleep which wasn't too hard since I worked at a gym where I was the morning trainer and had to get up at 4am 5 days a week. Now, I get up before dh and ds do at about 5:30 and workout until about 7am. I get home and fix coffee and breakfast and feel much better than if I slept in. I do that 5 days a week. I just know that I can allow myself some more indulgent food if I keep up the intensity. Also, I had gestational diabetes and learned that exercise was a natural insulin. I did an experiment one night...I had too much of something and an hour and half after dinner, my blood sugar was too high. So I did squats, leg lifts, and silly moves to get my hear rate up for 15 min. I checked it again and it went down by a lot. So I kept it up and at the end of the 2 hours post meal period, I was within limits to report to the doctor. I keep that in mind and use exercise as the primary way to stabilize my blood sugar and food secondary. Just my way of looking at it.
