Here is something that might be of interest to some. I scored a 4; I can't imagine how anyone could realistically score a 2 or less. Try it and let us know what you think:

It sure was an interesting quiz, but I agree with you and the others that it's not very realistic. It does, however, make you think, doesn't it. I scored a 4. I don't plan what I'm going to eat at a restaurant because I do not have ESP, so I therefore don't know what's on the menu ;-) , plus there are vending machines everywhere on campus at school, I do put snacks in my purse so that I don't have to eat those vending machine snacks, and I do prepare snacks for my hubby, since he drives 75 miles (each way) to work, and I'm not working now. LOL.
I love Dr. Phil, but I think he needs to "get real" with this. LOL!! Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I don't predict what I'm going to have in a restaurant, either. I love Fresh Choice, a salad buffet, and a local Middle Eastern and Asian buffet, so I eat there. My family loves Hometown Buffet, so I go there, too! I live alone, so I generally am the only one cleaning up the kitchen! I can't change my route to work to not go by fast food places or make them take out the vending machines. It was an interesting test, but I do agree with you all that Dr. Phil needs to think more realistically about people's lives on this one. Self control is the name of the game for us, I think!
I agree that the test wasn't very realistic. I think carring snacks (healthy ones) is much better than getting so hungry that you eat whatever is handy. But, it was fun to take!
Thanks,
Melissa
I'm not throwing away fattening leftovers just because they're fattening - there's even room for those if you balance your food choices carefully. I'm just not willing to throw food away until it's inedible. It's too expensive. And I'm not all that willing to tack extra miles/time on my morning commute to avoid the donut shop - I just get coffee anyway, not a daily donut, muffin or bagel, or whatever else they're selling.
Maybe if I had "people" to do all my work and thinking for me......

Melissa, our saint (Yes, of course, I'm being very sarcastic! I just had to comment now that someone actually scored a 2!).
