Offended? Sorry if you have been...

It has just come to my attention that some members of this board consider my posts to be rude and the think I come across as if I know it all. I wanted to apologize to anyone who has been offended by my posts. That is not at all what I have ever meant. When I suggest something, I'm just trying to be helpful. If it is not helpful to you, then ignore my suggestion. I certainly don't live in anyone else's body or anyone else's lifestyle, and I can't speak for anyone else.
I sometimes post tongue-in-cheek (like about California cheese) and I thought the LOL emoticon I used at the top made that clear...maybe not. I also post a lot of 2 cents posts, and again, I thought the 2 cents emoticon made that clear.
I do agree that this board needs more than one cl-. I applied, but was ignored (maybe the CM's thought I came across as a know-it-all, too, I don't know. I do feel strongly, though, that this is too busy of a borad for one cl-, and that others could also help out. If you are interested, I do encourage you to apply to ivillage--and I certainly am only saying this to be helpful. There are definitely some members that I think would make great cl-s for this board.

Hi Catherine, I'm sorry for the stress you went through with that email situation.

It nice to have healthy discussions as long as we don't start calling each other names and making voodoo dolls. With a little more positive guidance and CL help, maybe we could piece and mend the discussions folders so people will find the items needed. This board it huge. That is a great thing though. Think of all the inches and pounds being lost, and the confidence and health that is being gained.
Ria.
It wasn't cattiness, just a little broken wings here and there.
Ria, that first sentence in my post (the cattiness word) was not about this thread, at all.
