I've seen posts regarding informative posts being lost. Unfortunately, that is how the board is set up to look... for the most part.
Try using the search bar on the main SBD page to search for the things for which you are looking. There is also a great outline view that let's you scroll down the posts. Don't forget that if you are looking for something specific, you might have to dig through posts. I've been here two months, and I still dig looking for the right ideas. If you are looking under a certain main title on this message board, don't forget to hit the more button, and it will show all the threads in that category.
Also, don't forget the "ignore" option. If there are some posts that might get you ruffled time and time again, just use this option.
General Discussion are just that. Introductions are just that... if you post under this main foler, you will probably get a more quick response with a greeting if that is what you are looking for. Just remember, people are different phases, and personally, I don't read the introduction or phase 1 section on a regular basis. There is a section for sharing your success, and I'll admit, I don't always post my successes there either. I'm trying hard to remember to do that.
The scroll option works wonders as well. I read an article that a high percentage of internet users either don't or forget to use the scrolling option.

Also, don't forget the "find messages about..." at the top of the page. If you remember specific things about the psot you're looking for, you might find an "advanced search" to be helpful. You can
