After a night of indulgence...

I'm in phase I. Last night I had mexican food, beer and cake. I was soooo good all week, and I want to be able to reward myself at least one meal a week. I figured today I'd drink tons of water and eat very very lightly. Do you think this will make up for my "bad" meal? I'm planning to do phase I for about 3 weeks, and I'm currently on week 2.

Is this a terrible idea or can I make this work on a regular basis?

If you have these meals or days, pick up with your SBD meals the next day. Don't skimp on meals because you'll just end up hungrier the next day. It's not like your body stores the extra food from the day before waiting to be used the next day. That next day needs just as much attention. I wouldn't get into the habit of having these days if you're just going to feel bad the next day. Pick up and extra workout and move on.
