Soynuts? (phase 1)

I love to eat soynuts and I find them like at Walmart, the roasted and salted kind. Is salted okay? I didn't see any dry roasted... and I didn't know how much was in a serving. I get the Daily Dish email, and the nuts one didn't mention soynuts. Anyone know anything about them? Thanks!

Soynuts are really a legume (bean), rather than a nut. I think they are probably OK...just make sure they are roasted in a healthy oil and don't contain additives, such as preservatives and other sugar-coated flavorings. I'd think they are probably not the best choice for Phase 1, because of the oil, but probably not the worst, either. Personal opinion (and I don't have any idea what Dr. A would say about this) is that if they are not stalling your weightloss, they are probably OK. What do others think?
