Anyone Lose Little Weight first 14 days?

Hello! I was wondering if anyone lost 1-2 pounds the first two weeks and decided to extend phase I to ensure results? I am being rather good and am adopting a new eating style due to this diet/ lifestyle change. However, I have lost only a pound or two and am wondering if I should extend the strict phase. I am aiming to lose 10 - 15 pounds, but it seems like something must be wrong. My inches have not changed either.

Hi,
I thought my metabolism was very sluggish, but I think yours must be totally shut down.
hi there!
Hi,
I have been on the beach since 9/30.
I need tips from you! I am currently 138 and my goal is 125- I also have a very slow metabolism... Today is the end of week one/phase one and I have only lost 2 lbs.Anything you can suggest? I have been trying to lose this baby weight for 3 yrs now, and have never been able to get below 130. Are you working out, and how much snacking can I do in P1- can I have only 1 pc of string cheese or is 3 OK?
Thanks,
Polly
You guys all sound like me, except that I had ten more pounds to lose when I started out. I didn't really know what weight I wanted to get to; I just knew I wanted to fit back into my clothes. It turns out that around 125 is perfect for me, and that is about where I am right now.
I followed the diet religiously for the first two weeks--with the exception of one lunch with potato chips and
Hi Polly,
I do work out - but not enough.
Hang in there! Since you do not have a lot to lose, that's probably why it's coming off slowly. But it's better to take it off slowly and KEEPING the pounds off, rather than lose it all in 2 weeks then have a 'weekend cheat' and gain it all back! I know you'll hate to hear this (I know I do.. but it's true!) : It didn't take only 2-3 weeks to put the weight on, so you shouldn't expect it to come off so fast :)
By reading your posts you seem to be doing everything fine, so I would say continue with this WOE(way of eating) and the pounds will have to come off eventually. Maybe your body 'thinks' that it should stay at this weight, maybe it's clinging on to the lbs, and when it realizes that this WOE is forever, you're going to experience a 'whoosh'!
Good Luck!
Nancy :)
