Wade Waters Vs. Stay on the Beach?

I thought it would be interesting to see who was going to wade the waters of the beach or stay on the beach for Thanksgiving.

I will be, if I am lucky, participating in a half marathon on Thanksgiving morning. I was sick this week, but I am telling you guys, ZICAM works wonders. Anyhow, I will be wading off the beach this Thanksgiving. My mom is an awesome cook, and I want all the goodies. I'll do it within reason though. You guys have read my posts and know I believe in giving a little now and again if you are ready.

Anyhow, just curious... any thoughts on wading or beaching?

Congrats Jessica!!!!!!!

I am not a "by-the-book" beacher, but more of a basic principle beacher. I have found that exercise and a little treat now and again are all right FOR ME. I am way into P2, and I will be moving into phase 3 in January. Unfortunately, I have been sick and poopy all week, so my exercise is taking a backseat, and my eating isn't all that great either. I mean, I eat the right things, but I don't feel like eating most of the time.

Jessica, keep trucking along! You'll do just fine and wonderful! have you applied for CL position? I hope Ivillage comes along soon to name the CLs because there seems to be a lot of "jocky-ing" for positions around here. However, it is refreshing to see so many different personalities molding and mixing and squashing their own arguments and lifting up their successes.

Great success Jessica!

I LOVE ZYCAM!!!

That stuff rocks. As to wading or staying...depends on what I feel like that day. If I want a huge mound of mashed potatoes, I'm going to have it and enjoy it. If I want a big piece of cake, it's mine.

The thing about SBD is that I know I can enjoy *whatever* I want. The next day, I go back to a modified P1-in-the-morning/P2-in-the-evening for a couple of days (something that I've found works for me to mitigate damages), and I'm fine.

Happy Turkey Day!

Your plan is exactly mine. Wade in slightly...faux-tatoes, and a little bit of stuffing and gravy. The rest is pretty easy. I never indulged alot in the dessert part of thanksgiving anyway...it was all about the meal for me even before the beach. That yummy stuffing comes once a year (well, it also comes on christmas day, so twice) and i cant pass that up!

Bottoms up everyone.

Maryann-Congratulations!!! A new grandson is wonderful news. Have a great time in New York. Don't worry about the beach, you know what you're doing. It'll be a great day and no problem for you at all to stay on track.

Hope
