Sorry, I just have so many questions on this diet! Anyone know legal "chinese food" to eat? I am having dinner at a friend's house tonight, and they decided to order chinese out. I don't want to be difficult... but I need to know a couple of dishes that I can eat safely! HELP!?!? Also, thanks to everyone answering my question's. You guys are so helpful, this is a great support system!

Very good point, Catherine. To which I would like to add my two cents...I was pretty sure the book said to stick with skinless chicken breasts...when is the last time you saw a skinless chicken wing? :)

I certaintly hope this wasn't directed at me. I was not getting rude and don't need moderating. That post ended yesterday and we just let it go until now. I even said it was my personal experience I was giving my reasons why I didn't think this was as important and issue as weather to eat a chicken leg or wing.

"OK, no reason to get rude. Everyone does this diet a little differently...we've already established that. So let's just stop the backbiting, please."

Backbiting???

I asked for clarification of a thought from Ga Girl, and that is backbiting? The question was valid and non judgemental, and I get the post back telling me to pretty much mind my own business and stop being bossy.

I will be very happy when we get a real few real CLs other than our current CL on this board to moderate and spark discussion. This whole "jocky-ing for position" thing is really starting to bum me out on this board.

I am not ususally this outspoken... just lately. I don't care to be spoon fed or have my opinions knocked down and out when a previous poster made reference to opinions and having them.

I'm probably too late, but ask them to make you brown rice!

Hi Maggie, Catherine, and Beachers,

I wanted to clear up a few things here, and to anyone else who is reading this thread wondering how the heck this got out of hand.

To make things crystal clear... the comment from my post regarding "the little blue fish" was not a personall attack on you Maggie. You have a unique symbol as do I. The little green alien trips me out as it does other. I see your blue fish everywhere. That is all I meant by that phrase. I have NEVER made a personal attack on anyone nor will I ever do that because it is silly.

I have received a personal email from Catherine (cmckslp). I will not post it here or give any speeches on how I am going apologize if I offended anyone because I didn't do anything wrong. In another thread, you will read about how I am getting tired of being moderated by Catherine. We all know she is applying to be a CL for the southbeach board. I am applying as well, but I am who I am, and I will not sit by and let someone slap my wrists for my opinions. No one is coming to my defense, no one is taking up for me, and I don't want anyone to. If I get ousted from the board for my opinions (As long as I am not personally attacking anyone), then so be it.

Ria

I am so confused now. Chicken wings aren't good to eat? I only them on special occassions, and I eat veggies with them. I'm still losing weight... this is all so confusing.

Pineapples are girl's bestfriend.. except on South Beach.

If you really want to go by the book, you shouldn't eat wings. I have eaten them on occassion with no adverse effects. Anything in moderation will not sabatoge you. Wings on occassion is moderation.

BUT, if you really don't want to stray from the list, I would pick something else:)

Hope this helps sort out some confusion,

Alison
