Anyone "not" wanting breakfast?

I wasn't a breakfast eater before I started SBD, and I was doing all right until lately. I don't want breakfast, and I am not hungry either. I know I have to eat, and it isn't food choices that are getting me. I just don't want to eat breakfast! lol. Anyone having that problem, and how are you dealing with the problem if you do not mind sharing.

Hi Ria,

I have never been hungry at breakfast.

I love eggs too! I haven't tired of them yet:) I have had cereal and a half a bagel with cream cheese on occasion so I guess that breaks up the egg eating.

Thanks! maybe that is my problem. I don't start work until 11am, and I go until 7pm (I work as a counselor for inner city teens). I do get up by 7:30 am. hmmmm... maybe I'll try what you do and see what happens. I don't mind boiled eggs:) Any other eggs, now THAT is an issue :)

I also don't like breakfast. I'm just not hungry in the mornings. Either that or I'm too busy and just forget to have something. But now I go to the gym in the morning. I don't like to eat a traditional breakfast before going to the gym because I can't run on a full stomach. So I have a protein shake in the morning before I go and one when I come back. I have a cup of NF Milk with one scoop of Whey Protein. Somedays I add fruit and or PB but the basic works fine. The protein takes longer to digest so I'm full until lunch even if it's just a shake or smoothie. The wonderful thing about protein is that it doesn't get stored into fat like carbs do. Your body uses what it can then gets rid of the rest. There are a lot of whey powders out that are carb free. I suggest Chocolate or Vanilla. I haven't had much luck with anything berry, grape, or orange flavored (yuck!).

I used to skip breakfast untill I started this WOE too!

I found that it's not 'eating' breakfast that I hated.. it was preparing it heheh So I made a deal with my husband, he makes breakfast in the morning, every single morning, in exchange I do all the laundry.

Men! Pfft! Don't tell my hubby, but what he doesn't realize is that I had been doing laundry by myself all the time before anyways LOL! It works out great for us since he doesn't take nearly as much time as me to get ready in the morning.

We have all bran cereal sometimes, but most of the time we have a grilled cheese with decaf coffee. I found some great bread that is working for us, and it's something we actually LOVE eating.. so it's all good. I don't recommend eating grilled cheese every mornings like we do, but IMVHO it's all about personal experience, choices and you customize your WOE for what works for YOU. This works great for us :) (BTW, the bread if very high fiber, true 100% whole wheat, and has 7 net carbs per slice. I know all about whole grain vs whole wheat.. but again.. this is what's working for us :)

Thanks! I wonder if I could work a deal with my fat cat Buddah? I'll clean his litter box if he cooks for me. lol. Great job in the negotiation, nancy! ;)

I need to try a cereal I suppose. I get bored with breakfast unless it is biscuts and gravy. lol. Oh well. Thanks for all your suggestions!
