I forgot to do this yesterday! I took a rest day so I guess exercise wasn't on my mind...

I was lazy this week, I admit it. But I'm replying anyway because I think this is a great idea and will be a good motivation to work out next week so I have something positive to report!

My new week resolutions:

I will do yoga 3 times this coming week.

I will go to the gym 3 times this coming week.

With each yoga/gym session I will do a target weight or abs program.

So, it's officially posted, I can't back out now!

I did some weight training this morning! I've changed up my workouts recently,

concentrating on 1 hr cardio at least 4 times a week in the mornings, yoga 3 times a week (evenings) and weight training 2 days (off cardio days). Hopefully it'll get me where I want to be!!

I've worked out before coming to the SBD so the exercise part is a habit for me. I am interested in seeing how the food/exercise combination helps me lose this weight.

I had all good intentions of working out at a high level right through Thanksgiving morning, but a slip in the bathtub and a twisted and painful lower back have put those plans on hold for several days. R&R until this clears up (or a request to the dr during my checkup next Tuesday for something to help it along), then back to my routine, which generally involves 3 to 4 miles on the treadmill with intervals at least 4X a week (more frequently when I feel like it), weight machine and free weights 2 or 3X a week, ab work on the treadmill days, and gentle stretching always. I miss it already. Waahhh...

(((DONNA)))

I FEEL for you. I hate when I am hurt or unable to workout. It really affects my attitude... aside from every other benefit it provides. I hope you are feeling better REALLY soon!!

i don't know how this works exactly (i count my exercise friday to friday). this was my first week on P1 and I felt a bit weak. I did four hour hike Friday night, 1.25 mountain bike ride Saturday, and Pilates work-out, then this work week I ran the dogs for 30 mintutes, did yoga and pilates once a piece. Not much, but it's where I was at this week.

Goals:

1- 4 hour hike (tonight)

1- 2 hr. bike ride

Rock climbing

Pilates x 3

Yoga x1

and LOTS of Walking around holidays (I will be out of town)

I love all the support on this site!
