Not happy:(

I wanted to wish everyone a heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving and much success on this great plan...With that said, I'm saying my goodbyes to you all here.

I'm not happy with the direction that this board is being taken. I'm tired of the handslapping over disagreements and feelings of big brother looking over my shoulder. I thought we could resolve our posts as grownups but some here don't feel that way and feel like they need to jump in to other's business through personal e-mails. Having posts reported that are opinions and not personal attacks on members is plain ludicrous and disheatening.

I'm tired of feeling like I'm living under a microscope and I have a feeling it's not going to stop.

Thanks for all who have helped me and I hope I've been able to help others:)

The missing cents sign - I mentioned that to DH just last week. I guess removing it from the keyboard is called progress. Why make it easy to type a single character when you can have the opportunity to type an extra character or two, and make a potentially costly mistake doing so?!

BTW, hear, hear to everything else you said.

Thanks, ellen, and everyone else for your supportive kind words. I will stick around but probably more as a lurker for a little while. I agree with Ria about having person to person e-mail to get more in depth with a personal opinion on how to do something, but not as a tool to censor unnecessarily.

If anyone would like to e-mail me with a question for advice or something along those lines...please do:)

Hello Ria and Alison, I am sorry to learn of your difficulties with the board, it is sad because you are both a wealth of knowledge, have great experiences and are terrific role models for sbd, I personally value your recommendations and will miss them. Wishing you both hugs, happiness and continued success with sbd, Janet

Hi Susan and Packie,

I will speak for me, and Alison will speak for herself. We are cool like.

For me, I am going to stick around to see how the new CLs will be. Nancy was picked to be a CL, and so far, she is the only one who has posted. I have been on another board where too many fights and disagreements were taking place, and I don't want to see our board like that. YUCK!

I am still here for a little bit. I lurker here and there, but Susan, I have LOVED your shopping list ideas and menus. Can you be the CL here :) lol. thanks again both.

Thanks:) It was more what happened in personal emails and since i'm a sensitive person, I know when I doing something out of line. Also, if I do happen to cross the line, I know how to fix it and move on. I didn't need someone to tell me how, you know. It's the "I can do it myself" syndrome:)

Thanks for the kind words. I'm laying low but will be a constant lurker. I enjoy everyone's stories too much!

Being able to try to fix what you can and move on is an admirable quality.
