Hi Everyone,

I've decided to give the SBD a try because I have heard it gives great results, and I am looking to lose a few lbs before returning home for winter break from college. Even though I do try to stay active, I find it hard sticking to a healthy diet while in college, and I am one who gains weight pretty easily if I start to cheat and don't watch what I eat/drink. I only want to lose about 5-8 lbs, cuz I have been noticing that my clothes are fitting a bit more snug lately. I wanted to know if anyone would be willing to review what I eat each day to see if I'm doing the program right? It'll help me stay on track, and make sure I am eating appropriately for the program. Also, any suggestions/tips you all have would be very helpful! THANKS! :)

HI Nicole,

Welcome to SBD! I'll try to answer your questions the best I can and give advice according to my own experience. Many of the people here are very knowledgable and helpful. I'm sure you'll get lots of support. You should also check out the Frequently Asked Questions post in the general discussion section. It has a lot of great info about everything. It should also have the list of "Foods to Enjoy and Foods to Avoid". If you follow this list then your eating should be pretty simple. But if you have any questions just post here.. it's a really fun and supportive message board.
