December 1st Week Challange from Ria

Howdy!
I am challenging every SBD member to this for December 1, 2003:
Get in 20 minutes of some sort of exercise. Walk up stairs instead of taking elevators. Walk around the block after lunch. Go to the other person's office rather than call.
Eat two cups of veggie with lunch! That is soooooo hard for me to do!
Drink the amount of water suited for your body.
My favorite of them all:
Donate an unwrapped toy to the "Toys for Tots", your church, another organization, etc.
CHALL-ONJ! (remember the older dude who taught ruddie to tap dance on the Cosby show???)

I've been slacking on my veggies the last couple of days, thinking "oh well, I'm going back to P1 in a few days anyway," so I better get my butt in gear here!

You're on Ria!!!
I have heard so many different ways to calculate this if anyone would like to share their method. Me, I keep a 32 OZ Ex-Savannah, Georgia Beer Mug filled with water, and I mark down how many I have during the day. Usually about 6 or 7... Calculating your water intake... hmmmm... what was that equation I saw... I can't remember! lol.

You can find the new link for progress under success stories at the bottom.
My Dec.1st has already past and I got a lot of exercise in! Thanks for the challenge and the encouragement to give to charity for the holidays. Even if you don't have money to give... you can try to give your time by volunteering.
I can't remember who said it... but one of my favorite quotes is, "The best gift you can give is yourself." You know what.. I think I read that again in dear abby today. Spread the holiday spirit everyone.

I'm in. Exercise, water and a donation. PS-although i dont live in boston anymore, when i was there, some friends of mine ran a big toys for tots thing. if you live around there and are interested, please email me and i'll get you their info. I lived in the south end and these guys make sure that the awesome toys that are collected go directly to kids from the neighborhood, not some larger receptacle and then dispersed around.
Happy Holiday Season!

There's no real concensus on water consumption, but following is a very informative article about it, which can help you determine how much you'd like to consume:

Sign me up, since I'm back at "the beach!"
I've already got a children's Christmas book put aside for the Guardian ad Litem Program, which is one of the projects our Republican Women's Club works on.
