Is SBD low-carb to you?

I have a question that I was wondering about today. Shan posted on another board regarding SBD and the low-carb label. I was wondering what you guys thought. I don't see it is a total low-carb plan because we don't count carbs. If done right, the only low-carb phase is the first, but I see this as more of a detox phase. Once you reach P2 and P3, you are adding and maintaining Low GI carbs and maybe some higher GI carbs on occassion. This is just my thought. In Phase 2, I have been enjoying slow cook oatmeal, whole grain breads, fruit, milk.... my mind trailed off... lol.
What do you guys think? Has SBD been properly labeled in the "diet world" as low carb?

I like that, "right carb"! I don't see SBD as low-carb at all, since you can have good carbs whenever you want them.

I hate when people misunderstand that way!!!
Someone really told you to read the book? Hahahaha... maybe better you than me. I'm not always an Angel =). I'd probably tell them they need a better hobby or reading list. Kinda pathetic to read diet books just so you can critcize the people who follow them. LOL
This way of eating is working for us and that's all that matters. I don't even care if everyone thinks it's a bunch of bull... as long as I keep losing weight, give me the placebo anyday. LOL
