Do you allow yourself a cheat day?

  • Yes, one day a week
  • Yes, more than one day
  • No, no cheating! (good job!)

Okay usually I have no cheats. There are lots of allowable foods I like. However, it's the holiday season and I don't regulate myself too much on the actual Holiday. I gained weight for Thanksgiving but I lost it all. I went right back to SBD. So I didn't cheat once a week but since Christmas and New Year's is coming up, I'd say I would have a cheat meal on those days (which makes once a month until Jan).

Just my two cents.

I said one cheat a week.... but it's really one big cheat (like a Ruffles potato chip binge, totally planned, usually during PMS) every 4-8 weeks.

Hey there! Great poll!

I didn't see an option for occassionally, so I am posting here. Although I don't allow for a cheat day, I do endulge sometimes. I combat things like that with exercise and water! lol

I keep the cheats small - a piece of candy (vs a bar), a bite of cake or brownie (vs a slice), a couple tblspns of high-test ice cream (vs low-fat or ff ice cream, or heaven forbid, frozen yogurt!! ). I truly don't feel bad about it - taste and "mouth feel" of the chosen cheat item matters more to me than having a big quantity of it.

Now, gnocchi and lobster ravioli are another matter.....won't touch them.....don't feel like I have enough control to stop at a tblsp of gnocchi or two ravioli.....
