All right everyone! I have about 25 pounds to lose and I am ready to start on the SBD! I have the book and have pretty much read it through, but I still have a few questions!

1) I HATE tomato juice and vegi juice...any other ideas?

2) Is Non-dairy creamer okay in my coffee, I don't care for FF half and half.

3) What is Laughing Cow Light Cheese?

4) What kind of Ham and Turkey do you use for the Roll Ups?

TIA!

Hi Dani, welcome to the SBD board, we are happy to have you!

Let's see if I can answer your questions, or at least some of them.

  1. Juice, if you don't like tomato juice, what about just having a tomato as a substitute to the juice?

Welcome!

I'm about P2.5 and started on September 8th. Ok. Ready for this? YOu don't have to do the V-8 juice. If that were the case, i would have had to leave the WOE. lol. I had enough trouble choking down eggs, but I did find boiled eggs are better me. It has been suggest that you have 1/2 cup veggie or fruit with breakfast, 2 cups with lunch and dinner respectively. I dont' follow the breakfast, and I have tried. Mel, I like the tomato idea... maybe I'll try that.

Laughing cow cheese... I didn't use it because I couldn't find the light kind. It was little on the pricey side for me when I found the fully leaded kind. I used Kraft 2% or Cabots cheese

I am partial to Cajun Turkey and Chicken Breast from the Deli. Great stuff!!

The issue with no fat dairy creamer (almost added an R after the FA in fat...opps!) is the hydrogonated oils. Depending on what you choose, it is ok. I used it. Dr. A suggests using the "real" stuff because SBD is more on the purist side of eating rather than processed items. You will learn as you go. The book is crazy, but don't worry about that. You'll do just fine. There is a FAQ thread some where. Just go to the search box and type "FAQ." I'll see if I can't post it.

Welcome! Hope all this information is informative! There are so many awesome SBDers on this baord! You'll end up with a head full of knowledge!

Yeah, sometimes, I get too carried away and my fingers type on their own! I do that often. My works quicker than I type. lol.

Stay warm! I miss snow... then I remembered what it was like after being on the ground for two weeks.

Take care!
