I wanted to ask people what things have they bought at the grocery for a quick meal. For example I buy these chicken hot dogs. I think they're really good, some with red peppers and basil some with feta and spinach. I also went to Costco and just bought a big bag of celery, romaine lettuce, asparagus, eggs so that I don't have to keep going to the store. Any other ideas for time saving techniques?

Thanks,

-Kristina

At night when you are preparing what seems to me to be the most time intensive meal, I cut up my stuff for the next day and if I can a day after that.

I buy ready made meatballs in the frozen department of the supermarket to safe time, and I use turkey sausage by removing the casing and making mini meat loaves.I also have lots of frozen veggies in my freezer to make casseroles. Hope that helps Hugs Maryann

Thanks Maggie for the heads up.

I don't think the ones I get have that much fat in them.... these aren't the overly processed ones these are the gourmet ones that you can buy at the meat counter at Wild Oats and such. I will check on the ingredients though.

Thank you.

Kristina, I agree with the others -- leftovers are the way to go, as there seems to be a shortage of quick prep options.
