How long you have been on the beach,

I started South Beach 7 days ago. And I have lost 7lbs. I'm very excited. And I'm eating a lot too! More then I was before but better foods.

what can we do to make this board a better place to visit?

I haven't found any complaints about the board so far. It has been really useful and have found a lot of support from visiting it daily. Thanks guys!

Suzy (41) from Midwest. I have been MIA here since Sept. I was then struggling to lose my last 10 lb. I had been on WW since Feb and had just gotten in a rut. I love the logic and flexibility of SBD. I think I didn't stick with it long enough last fall to see real results. I went back to my WW routine and did get to my goal with them (140) then got down to 134. I will get my Lifetime status with WW this week so I can go to meetings free if I feel the need for some added support. I am having trouble adjusting to maintaining now after being in weight loss mode for so long. I eat anything without counting those darn points and I am up again. This week I've gone up 4 pounds (was 138 today) and I am now re-reading my SBD book. I want to get back to 135. I ate strictly SBD foods today. If I get down to 134, or as low as 130 (no lower than that, though) I wouldn't mind. I think SBD makes more sense for maintenance. I got so tired counting points and measuring every little ounce. I would rather eat sensibly and healthfully and hopefully keep the weight off that way. I'm on Phase I this week to lose what I've gained, and then I'll go to Phase II or III to try to maintain. Your friendliness & support mean so much here! I like the suggestions I've read here so far. I can't think of anything new to add. I look forward to reading your suggestions on how to get through the holidays, etc. This board is a great source of information and friendship. Thanks for always welcoming me!!!!

Hi ! I'm Karen - age 42 - from northwest New Jersey. I have been on the beach since 9/30. I love this board. The recent changes have been great! I would like to see the recipe section become strictly recipes - I like to scroll thru and have meal ideas jump out at me. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing.
