Should you weigh yourself everyday? I'm thiking that during the week you always go up and down but by the end of the week when you see the big drop it's better to wait?

Hi,

Yes - you should weigh yourself only once a week.

yeah, I fluctuate a lb or two during the week, and then I see my big drop on Sat morning when I go weigh in at the gym. Im a slave to the scale too, but I dont fret over what I see Mon-Fri. I dont do that until Sat!lol

The SBD plan recommends that you weigh once a week.

I agree with everyone else that it's good not to weigh every day. I'm out of control, though, and weigh myself multiple times a day. LOL. I wish I could stop but I do have a bit of OCD!!

I hardly ever weigh myself and go by measurements only. As long as you are getting leaner (smaller), it doesn't really matter how much you weigh. But I can relate. I used to weigh myself every day also.

I think it really depends on you and how you feel when you weigh in. I also feel that it's a good idea to weigh yourself once a week and take measurements to track your progress. If you feel badly about fluctuating weight or get down if the number increases, then you shouldn't weigh in everyday. However, I do weigh in every morning with the same scale, same time, same clothes. But for me it's more like a science project. I'm in Phase 2 and I'm slowly introducing new carbs and exercises into my program. The scale and measurements really tell me how these things are effecting me. I weigh myself everyday but I take the average and depend on that number each week. I weigh myself each day only to find my formula for weight-loss. You should do what makes you FEEL THE BEST about yourself and what you're doing. This will keep you motivated to keep going!
