Here's a chance for you to tell your story. Someone turned you onto the beach, and I bet you've told a few yourself. Tell us about family that are now beaching themselves because of your success! Give props to those who helped you get here!
I'll start...over Thanksgiving with family my SisterIL ( a Dr. in L.A.) was raving about this plan she's got most of her colleagues on and how she lost belly weight in P1. We went our separate ways, and each bought the book and hit the beach. Now that we're getting together again for the holidays, it's fun to motivate each other. I haven't enlisted anyone new, but I'll talk to everyone who will listen!

I started the week my husband went on a business trip. He came back one week later and I had lost 7lbs. He started soon after because of my success. He doesn't have a lot to lose but he's lost 7lbs and kept it off so far. I also told my best-friend about SBD. She lives in TN and I live in Japan. We instant message each other to keep each other on track and motivated. She's lost 11lbs so far. She previously tried Atkins with a little success but couldn't stick to it. Now that we're doing it together it's been easier. We even have a little friendly competition going on. I'm going home for x-mas and I want my Dad to try SBD. He has 30lbs to lose and I think this way of eating is great for anyone.

I started SBD on Oct 7th.
Debbie, I haven't exactly enlisted anybody yet, but I talk about it to anybody who wants to know.
Several women in my office were starting together on a Weight Watchers program that was being endorsed by our employer at about the same time I started the SBD, back in October.

About 4 years ago, I started putting on a little weight. I still ate "basically" healthy, but I wanted to lose the extra pounds (I saw no good reason I had them). I didn't try very hard, though, and convinced myself that since I could still wear the same size, it didn't matter (I've told myself in high school that if I ever
