Arnold is the brand name. They make several varieties, including a true low-carb one. I've heard mixed reviews on its flavor, so I've not tried it. But the HealthNut and either of the multi-grain varieties are delicious - plenty of texture and "stuff" in each slice, but not so much that it tastes like roofing shingles. The slices are full sized, also, so you're not being cheated.
Carbs per slice total from 15-18 grams, dietary fiber is around 3-4 grams, and total sugars 3 or fewer grams. This doesn't include the low-carb variety.
Stores that carry it? Stop & Shop and Shaw's in New England.
Good to see you here, drummers_chick. I haven't seen you in a while, maybe I've just been reading in different sections than you've posted...don't know. Anyway, I was wondering if you could post the link to the info about whole wheat and other breads again? I can't find it, but I wanted to refer to it again. Do you know what I'm talking about? Thanks!
