? about Laughing Cow Cheese

I'm not having any luck finding Laughing Cow Cheese.  Does anyone know what stores might carry it in the midwest (central Indiana to be more precise)?  Kat have you found it around here?  I find it hard to believe no one is carrying it since this diet has become so popular.  Maybe I'm looking in the wrong area?

So my next question would be -- what would you compare it to?  If I can't find it I'll find the low fat version of the next best substitute.  Thanks!

Teri

Teri, I'm in the midwest (Illinois), and have found Laughing Cow Cheese at Kroger's, Schnucks, Wal-mart, and Sam's Club.

Teri,

Good luck finding it because I can't!! :(

I have Super Walmarts around here and they don't carry it and neither does anyone else! Bums me out. I am travelling out of state for the next two weeks and I may look down there and if I find it, I'll stock up on some. If I do that, I hope I end up liking it!! Hahaha.

hi Teri!! I am getting excited!! I did find it at the Marsh near me but it was kind of hidden. Look in with the processed cheese slices. Actually I just finished some celery stuffed with 1 wedge and it was yummy!

Kat

P.S. It comes in a round almost wooden-like container.

Cindie have you asked the store manager to start carrying it?

Try Sam's Club, so far that is the only place I have found it in MN.

Hi, Teri!

I just buy store brands' reduced fat version of cheeses. I also use full fat cheeses when I can't find an acceptable low fat substitute. The full fat cheese are not part of the SBD plan; it is just what I do. I don't buy nonfat cheeses, because they are almost always more fillers than they are cheese.

Hope this is helpful to you on your quest for health!

At my grocery store in Chgo, they have it in the cracker aisle w. the velveeta / cheeze whiz type products, not in a cooler.

Thanks again whoever posted the hint to check there!!

Though noticed today when I got home from the store that they stuck in the regular instead of the light (only had 1 kind before). Sneaky.......

I love it on Wasa crisps!
