I have been eating OK most of the year, but 9.8.03 brought me to the beach.
2. Did you excersise? If so, what did you do?
Yep. I ran, trained for foot races, stretched and pilates.
3. Have you moved in clothing size? If so, let us know!
From a size 14 to a size 12 in bottoms. From XL to L in tops. And I think I need new bras too!

TOTAL POUNDS LOST : 28 lbs
TOTAL INCHES LOST : 4 in my waist, 3 around my back, 4 in my hips, and others I will post later.
hi and happy new year to you too. here is my tally:
1. What was your healthy eating plan? If SBD was one, when did you start?
I tried to do my own thing for a while. Then i just ate alot. After labor day (call it 9/1) i started SBD. it's been great.
2. Did you excersise? If so, what did you do?
My exercise has so far been walking and yoga. Thinking about dialing it up though, i've only been 2-3x per week and i'm thinking that's not enough.
3. Have you moved in clothing size? If so, let us know!
Totally moved in clothing size. From an 8 to a 2. (I know, it's shocking!)

2. Yes, lots of exercise. Started out the year running around with four-year-olds while teaching preschool, spent the summer in the pool with the school age kids at the summer camp, and finished up the year with a new running program and yoga 2-4 times a week.
3. YES, I've moved in clothing sizes! I'm so excited, yesterday I HAD to go buy new pants because none of mine fit. I've gone from a 12 to an 8 in pants, and have gone down a cup size in my bra (most people would not be happy about this but I'm thrilled, my boobs are just too damn big). I'm going to buy more pants on Friday, I just needed a pair to hold me over, lol.
Drumroll....
TOTAL POUNDS LOST: as of this morning, 20, but my official weigh-in isn't until Thursday.
TOTAL INCHES LOST: not sure, haven't been measuring.

Ria, hey you aren't stepping!
Susan :)
I started SBD on Dec. 8th. Before I tried watching what I ate. I'm finding SBD a lot easier to follow. I'm losing weight and feeling good.
2. Did you exercise? If so, what did you do?
I exercised periodically - yoga/pilates, jogging, and strength training. Now that the busy time is about over....I'm back at it.
3. Have you moved in clothing size? If so, let us know!
I was in a snug 6 and a little loose 8 before SBD. Now the 6's are fitting better and other's are really baggy. That makes me extremely happy. I have tons of clothes that are in closet that are waiting to be worn.

TOTAL POUNDS LOST : 10 lbs.
TOTAL INCHES LOST : I didn't keep track. Am now!

I guess you could call what I do a modified version of SBD phase 2...reduced processed starches and such..cut out fast food, deep fried crap...must eat more veggies in 2004
2. Did you exercise? If so, what did you do?
I got into using heavier weights and training muscle pairings after starting fitness instructor training. I am a total believe in weight training now. Cardio 3-5 days a week: step class, elliptical, treadmill, stationary bike
3. Have you moved in clothing size? If so, let us know!
my size 10's (normal rise pants) are loose...recently I bought some size 4's in low-rise that fit beautifully...I must've lost a lot off my hips.
TOTAL POUNDS LOST : 10 lbs. or so...lost 8% body fat...from 29% in Dec. 2002 to 21% (measured at doctor's office last week)
TOTAL INCHES LOST : I didn't keep track officially..but I found a pair of jeans from 2 years ago in my closet with a 34" waist...now I wear a 29" :)
Here's my answers:
1. What was your healthy eating plan? If SBD was one, when did you start?
SBD is it. Started September 14th at 1 pm - just at the start of the NE Patriots game, when I had the option of eating nachos or something healthy. I chose something healthy, and haven't looked back.
2. Did you exercise? If so, what did you do?
Workouts consist of brisk walking on treadmill (with a rare minute of running here and there), and weight training. LOTS of stretching to keep these old joints flexible and pain-free, but no yoga or Pilates (can't shut up the chattering I do in my head long enough to focus).
3. Have you moved in clothing size? If so, let us know!
At least one size down in pants (possibly two), two down in tops. I know I'll be at a size two in Chico's knit dresses, but I haven't tried on a lot of dresses lately. Waiting for the 20-lb milestone.

TOTAL POUNDS LOST : 18
TOTAL INCHES LOST : Don't know - measured early on, but didn't write it down because I didn't want any evidence against me lying around . Does having all my rings spinning freely around my fingers now mean anything? How about being able to zip my regular-width boots up without straining (they have an elastic vent in them, but they're not wide widths)?
