Hi all,
My name is Mary and I just turned 23. I have recently put on a little weight and have been struggling to take it off. Last May I seriously tried the Atkins diet for the first time. I managed to drop about 20 lbs in about three weeks. Then I fell off the plan and the weight all came back plus some. It's hard for me to stick with the Atkins plan but I did like the fast results. I am getting married in October and would like to lose about 25 lbs before then and to maintain that weight for good. I have watched my mom struggle with her weight all my life and I don't want to be like that. Recently I saw the SBD book at my FMIL's house and skimmed a couple pages, it looked pretty good. But before I jump into a another strict diet I want to be sure it's one I can stick with. I work two jobs and have little time, although I love to exercise it's hard for me to fit it in. Can anyone tell me if the SB diet is easy to stick with and worth investing the money on the book. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Hello Mary!
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and welcome to the Beach! This is a great way of eating--very flexible, healthy and easy to stick to (I've been on the plan since August). You do have to cook to use this plan, but you can cook simple meals, make them ahead, and cook extras to save as leftovers for easy meals later on.
Just lurk here a while (and post, too!), and you will find
