Okay ladies, we've just launched a new support group especially for the age 40-and-up people!

You are all personally invited to check it out, get some "buddy" support there, answers, and even helpful articles and info for the special struggles of losing weight and keeping it off after 40.

kaykatie, grammy1948, megs55, ms_dusty, susie0607, muse50, Maryann and many others...hope to see you there soon!

Susan, Hon...personally, I would welcome you in the 40 and up group!!! You are such a sweetheart, you would be a breath of fresh air. Plus, wouldn't you rather be the youngest in our group than the oldest in another group??? Hahaha.

Hugs,

Cyndie

Hi,

I'm a newbie - starting the diet this coming Monday - and this 40+ group feels like a fit for me!

I'm 51 years (young) and suddenly dealing with post-menopausal weight gain (15 pounds this year, after being slim for the last 5 years) and increased blood pressure - I feel like I need to change my lifestyle quickly, before this trend gets out of control!

I'm an absolute sugar-holic.... and know that's the source of my weight gain. This plan feels right to me, because it gives me lots of choice, little structure, and will teach me a healthy way of eating. The plan will be a challenge, because I'm allergic to dairy and dislike eggs.

I've posted a similar post in the phase 1 area, because my first post to the 40+ group (posted yesterday), never showed up - so, please excuse possible duplications of thought.

Looking forward to supporting each other and getting lots of gems of advice from you "young" pro's!

Liz
