Is anyone using the actual SBD web site?
| Mon, 01-05-2004 - 8:03pm |
I'm a newbie, today is my first day. Going really well so far!!
Wondering if anyone here also has signed up for the actual SBD web site thing--is it worth it? How are the shopping lists? and the other tracking tools?
Thanks,
Amy in NYC

There are people here using the website, though I'm not one of them. I hope they see this and give you their two cents worth.

I have, and just renewed after a
Susan :)
I am in neighboing CT and grew up in NYC!
I have not been online. I have the book and am quite pleased with it. I glance at it every now and then for ideas and reminders... I have just restarted P1 after the holidays. I just felt blechy and needed to detox myself from my sugar cravings. Though, interestingly enough, I did not have carb cravings, so I guess that is a good sign!
Since I basically know what I can and can not eat, I just adapt recipes from a regular cookbook, but I also have the time to do so as I am a SAHM of a 2 and a 4 year old. I spent 2 hours at Borders yesterday (2 y.o asleep in stroller and 4 y.o at school!) and came across the SBD companion book. It is a small paperback that I thought looked really useful. It listed everyday foods and rated them as a good choice, once in a while choice or bad choice. I did not get it, but I may return for it.
Good luck!
