For me success is the happiness I feel when I realize I have changed my life around. Yes, I may still eat too much chocolate at times. But the difference now is that even as I do it, I know that I can take off any excess weight I put on. Before I would just give up and feel powerless to control myself, ever.
The big thing to remember, especially if you are 50 or more pounds overweight:
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REACH YOUR GOAL WEIGHT BEFORE YOU START FEELING VERY GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF.
Even a 10 pound loss may make all the difference to your attitude about yourself. And how you feel about yourself is very important. When you feel fat, ugly and defeated you stop carring about yourself. When you learn that you CAN lose the weight and improve your health, you start looking at yourself as the important, creative, wonderful, beautiful person that you really are. Again, this important change in your attitude can happen at any time. Usually it happens when you are eating right, getting enough water, and getting lots of exercise.
YOU HAVE THE POWER TO START EATING RIGHT, GETTING ENOUGH WATER AND EXERCISING A LOT TODAY!!!!!!
