Newbie here,

Do I understand this right?:

Basically for SDB there are certain foods you can eat (broken down according to phases).

You can eat anything off the lists--?

(within reason) -- as long as sweets are under 75 cal.???

Must it be the 3 meal, 2 snack format?

ALSO - Which kind of OLIVES are permissible?

What about drinking MILK as a beverage???

As far as I know all olives are permissable, they are the good fats.

Yup, the new book (Good Fats Good Carbs Guide) does list Low-fat or fat-free milk or soy milk as well as Plain or sugar-free low-fat or fat-free yogurt in the Phase 1 foods to enjoy list.

Maggie,

I have the book and they are indeed on the new Phase 1 list, along with plain yogurt (still no fruit yogurts!)

Oh, and the great Peanut Butter Debate is settled at one tablespoon on this list as well :-)

Ok, so you can now have 1 tablespoon of peanut butter?

Dunno :-) I don't measure, I just scoop a little out on my plate. The Good Carbs/Good Fats Guide says 1 tablespoon, but I would leave it at two if that's what it said earlier, in the interests of a kinder, gentler, SBD.

Mel,

In the Good Fats, Good Carbs Guide it lists a portion being 1 TBS.
