Phase 1 and becoming discouraged

i stated SBD on Dec. 28th. It is now Jan.6 and I haven't lost anything. I've been drinking my water and sticking to the plan plus doing 20 minutes a day of a cardio workout. But its still not coming off. I'm becoming even more discouraged reading everyone's postings who weigh no where near where I do and are loosing the weight. I suppose it would be nice to only have to loose 10 lbs. But I'm one of those that needs to loose like 60. Argh! Has anyone else had such a slow start?

Way to go starting SBD!! I saw a story on tv where this lady was doing phase 1 and didn't lose anything the first week and then the next week, she lost 10 lbs! Have your clothes started fitting any differently? You may just be losing inches to start. Try not to get too discouraged. You should start to see some weight loss by the end of the week, I'm sure!
You started the same day I did! I have 70 lbs to lose, so I have quite a bit to go myself. Do you have any mini-goals? Try setting mini-goals for yourself. It makes looking at the big picture not look so bad. My first mini-goal is to make it to 150. That seems more attainable than my final goal of 115.
