Okay, so instead of taking my lunch break to get a much needed vanilla latte--I chose to go to Borders and check out the new SBD guide --- IT'S GREAT!
I haven't had a chance to really read it. Mostly, it breaks down EACH food and tells you if it's good or bad. It tells you how many carbs, etc are in each serving (and lists the serving).
It is a smaller, paperback and I think it was 7.99--what a great thing to throw in your bag if you are going on a vacation, or out to eat.
I think that someone said you can have yogurt in phase 1???? I didn't see that in this book....maybe I'm wrong...

Dairy
low-fat or fat-free milk or soy milk
plain or sugar-free low-fat or fat-free yogurt
I believe this means plain unflavored yogurt.
I would think the same.

Might have to try that. The ricotta scares me...!
Don't be scared about the ricotta, it's really VERY good.
