I have a smoked ham that I want to use. I know Canadian bacon is allowed and honey-baked ham is not on phase 1. But this is not honey baked, but smoked. Does anyone know?

Thanks

Is it a brand that you've used before? I ask because, although my story isn't about a fresh dinner ham, I've ordered smoked deli ham twice from the same store and one of them definitely had a sweet flavor. I'm paying more attention now.

If you're sure there's no sugar, enjoy it!

I don't have my book with my but I believe boiled ham is the only ham allowed. It is different. My guess is that it has the fat boiled out of it as well as no added sugar. I would not eat regular ham on this diet. Too much saturated fats. It might not make any difference to your weight loss, however the goal is to watch sat fats too.

Very lean pork tenderloin is a good pork choice.

No, that's not true, not all ham is allowed even if it's lite.

Thanks everyone for the information. I think I was safe to have my ham. It can from an upscale butcher shop ( Christmas present)and had no honey or sugar on the label, boneless and very lean.
