Today is day 6 and I had some frozen yogurt and a cookie. Went to salad buffet for lunch but got a little carried away with the dessert only wanted to have coffee. Haven't weighed myself yet but I hope this didn't hurt me too much. Just disgusted with myself

Don't get discouraged! Everybody falls off the wagon a little once in a while. WE're human. Just remember that this is a way of eating for a healthier life. It's not suppose to be a tormenting diet. If you felt bad after you ate then next time you might think twice before eating it again. You shouldn't feel deprived on this diet. After the induction phase things will get a lot better. Stick with it and you'll see great results. The cookie shouldn't do too much damage...(as long as one cookie stays at one and doesn't end up at 6 or so) just start fresh and keep hydrated with water. There are also a lot of recipes here that are Phase 1 friendly and are good for desserts or treats. I make a peanut butter cookies that are phase one okay and delicious. I put it in a small tupperware and keep it in my bag. After I eat out with friends, if I still have a sweet craving I'll have one of those. Being organized and prepared has kept me on track with this way of eating. Just don't get down on yourself and don't quit! We've all been there and know what you're going through. I indulge in a little something once in awhile and it keeps me happy. We're not perfect but we're committed and we care. Keep up the good work... you're trying and learning.

Good luck,

Angel

We all fall off and or cheat. We are human! The thing is if you have a little something that is not allowed, DO NOT quit altogether. You'll tell yourself, OK, I probably should not have done that, but what's done is done, and I will go right back to being good.

I do not have a problem with "cheating", and I feel that it only becomes a problem if you just don't stop and reverse the process. So you had some frozen yogurt. Big whoop! Just make sure that tomorrow you have the ricotta dessert, that's all!

I'd LOVE the PB cookie recipe too!!!!!

I have sinned.

This weekend, I had 2 glasses of white wine on Fri nite

1 glass of red wine last nite

and 2 glasses of red wine tonite.

This is ending my 1st week of SBD.

Yes, I have sinned. I was celebrating tonite, in particular, b/c this morn, I weighed.

At the beginning of Day 7 I'd lost 9 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never seen anything like it. It's a miracle.

Could I be so lucky as to really just avoid pasta, rice, pot.s, and bread & eat sf sweets and STILL lose like crazy??????

I'm so excited!

thanks for all the helpful hints. I would love to have recipe for PB cookies. Tomorrow is weigh in for me, the end of my first week. I'll let everyone know that's for sure. You certainly do have to be organized for this way of eating so as not to reach for something you shouldn't have. I made the spinach cups for breakfast and my husband even liked them. Planning is everything.

Okay ladies here is the Peanut butter cookie recipe. It's good for Phase 1 and it's one of my favorites! They can be really crumbly so I enjoy them with a cup of tea in the evenings. Hope you enjoy!!

PB Cookies (they are so good!)

1 CUP Crunchy PEANUT BUTTER

1 EGG

1 CUP SLENDA

MIX TOGETHER AND SPOON A QUATER SIZE BALL ONTO A SPRAYED (WITH I CANT BELEIVE ITS NOT BUTTER) SPRAY, BAKE FOR 10 -12 MINUTES, at 350*F

YOU CAN ALSO DIP A GLASS INTO THE SPLENDA AND PRESS IT ON TOP OF THE COOKIE FOR A SUGARY TASTE........YUM

Don't forget to use all natural peanut butter so it's SBD friendly! Enjoy another good recipe is this one for French Toast:

French Toast SBD Style (Phase 1)

4 whole eggs + 4 egg whites

1 cup low fat or fat-free ricotta

1 T vanilla

1 T cinnamon

Dash nutmeg

4 pkt. Splenda

Beat all ingredients and pour into an 8x8 baking dish sprayed w/ Pam. Bake at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes. I top mine w/ a little extra Splenda or sugar-free pancake syrup. Enjoy!
